Consumer health data we collect and why

Summer Jib LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company handles the following information when you provide it or request a feature involving it. Consumer-health rules may protect information linked to physical or mental health even when it is not a medical record. This notice addresses that information specifically.

  • Summer: skin type, skin goals or concerns, fragrance sensitivity, product or ingredient scans associated with your profile, and derived compatibility or ingredient insights. These inputs support the personalized skincare analysis you request.
  • Baby Relay previews: care events such as feeding, sleep, diaper or health-related notes, active sleep status, and growth information entered by an authorized adult. These support care organization and any requested care-log sync. Features currently stored only on-device are described in the Baby Relay notice.
  • Account, installation, household, and request identifiers associated with such information, and health-related information voluntarily included in support correspondence, to deliver the requested feature and address the request.

Sources

Sources are your entries and selected uploads, device capture you initiate, an authorized caregiver where a supported feature permits it, and the analysis derived from those inputs. Public product and ingredient sources may supply product facts used to interpret a scan. We do not obtain medical records from your healthcare provider as part of these features.

Categories shared, recipients, and purposes

Summer's submitted scan images, extracted text, ingredient/product context, and selected skin-profile context may be processed by Firebase / Google Cloud and Google AI services, including Gemini API and Vertex AI, for requested extraction and analysis. Identifiers and technical request details support authentication and service protection. Baby Relay's optional synced care events and active sleep status are processed by Firebase / Google Cloud for the requested household feature.

Support and email providers and personnel authorized to handle your request may receive health details you voluntarily send. A recipient you deliberately select for an export receives its contents. Consumer-health information may also be disclosed when applicable law requires or specifically permits it. We do not sell consumer health data or share it for targeted advertising.

Summer Jib LLC is the operator. No separate affiliate is identified as a recipient for the features described here. Any additional affiliate or recipient and any new purpose requiring disclosure or consent must be identified before the corresponding sharing begins.

Consent and withdrawal

Collection and sharing must be limited to providing the service you request or another basis permitted by applicable consumer-health law. Where consent is required, it must be obtained before processing, including separate sharing consent where required. Acceptance of general terms is not that consent.

For Summer, AI scan sharing can be withdrawn in Profile > Preferences. In a Baby Relay preview, stop optional sync through the available controls and contact admin@summerjib.com regarding previously synced records. Withdrawing consent may prevent the related feature from working; it does not erase prior processing automatically. You may also request deletion.

Access, deletion, and appeals

Contact admin@summerjib.com with Consumer Health Privacy in the subject to request confirmation or access, withdraw consent, request deletion, or ask for the list of third parties or affiliates with whom your consumer health data has been shared, where applicable. We may verify your identity and, for child-related records, your authority without asking for unnecessary sensitive information.

Where Washington's My Health My Data Act applies, we respond without undue delay and within 45 days, with a further 45 days only where legally permitted and explained. You can appeal a refusal by replying with Consumer Health Privacy Appeal; we respond to the appeal within 45 days. You may contact the Washington Attorney General about a denied appeal. Other applicable laws may provide different or additional rights and deadlines.

A valid deletion request includes notifying relevant processors and recipients as required. Where Washington law permits delayed deletion from archival or backup systems, its deadline applies. General retention language elsewhere does not override a consumer-health deletion obligation. Exercising these rights will not result in unlawful discrimination.
