Baby Relay Privacy Notice

Development status and scope

Summer Jib LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company is developing Baby Relay. This notice describes the current prototype and any preview supplied to you; it does not announce a public release or promise that a feature is available. The notice and in-app choices must reflect the version made available to you before new collection or sharing begins.

Baby Relay is intended for adult parents and authorized caregivers. It may handle information about a child supplied by an adult; that is different from offering a service for children to use directly. Do not enter another family's information without lawful authority.

Information in the prototype

• Baby and caregiver information you enter: baby name, birth date, nickname, caregiver names and roles, and household associations.
• Care information you enter: feeding and sleep events, diaper and other care logs, active sleep status, notes, routines, reminders, care plans and tasks, handoffs, growth measurements, memories, and report drafts. Some of these records may be sensitive or consumer health information.
• If sign-in is used: Firebase authentication identifiers, email or Apple sign-in information, session state, and account-to-household relationships. Cloud services also process ordinary request, device, and security metadata.
• Support messages you choose to send and local exports you choose to create or share.

Local storage and optional care-log sync

The current prototype stores care records locally. Optional care-log sync is off by default. Where enabled after sign-in and household setup, care events and active sleep status are sent to Firebase / Google Cloud with household, baby, event, and caregiver identifiers and timestamps.

Routines, reports, memories, handoffs, and other app data currently remain local rather than being included in that sync feature. A local caregiver role or a permission label is not a guarantee that every corresponding sharing restriction has been implemented. Use only the access and sharing features explicitly available in your preview.

Local exports are generated on your device. If you use a share destination, the recipient or destination service receives the exported information under its own practices. Review an export carefully and choose recipients who are authorized to receive the child's information.

Purposes and recipients

Information supports the care timeline, local organization, selected sync, household association, export, troubleshooting, and support. Firebase / Google Cloud supplies the implemented authentication, database, and backend features; Apple supplies device and sign-in services where used. Authorized support personnel may process information you send for assistance.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. This notice does not authorize unrelated marketing, advertising profiles based on a child's care data, or third-party AI processing. Any materially different data use requires appropriate notice and permission before it begins.

Retention and deletion

Local records remain until removed through available controls or app-data removal. App deletion alone does not delete previously synced cloud records, exported files, recipient copies, or device backups. Signing out or stopping sync is not the same as deleting data already sent.

For a preview account or synced records, contact admin@summerjib.com to request access, correction, export, or deletion and identify the preview you used. Do not assume a self-service cloud deletion feature exists in a development build. Requests involving a child's information may require verification of parental or other lawful authority. We explain any retention required by law and any effect on shared household records.

Security and health-data rights

Protect your device and account, avoid shared credentials, and review who can access exports. Cloud storage and transport protections do not mean that records are end-to-end encrypted. No system can guarantee confidentiality or availability.

Where consumer-health or other sensitive-data law applies, you may have additional rights concerning collection, sharing, consent, access, and deletion. Contact us to exercise those rights. Preview status does not remove applicable privacy obligations.

Privacy requests and contact

Contact admin@summerjib.com with the app or service name and the type of request. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or authority. Do not send passwords, bank credentials, government identification, private child records, or medical records in an initial email.

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent, without unlawful discrimination. We respond within the deadline applicable to your request and explain any permitted extension or refusal. If an appeal right applies, reply with Privacy Appeal in the subject. You may also complain to your relevant privacy regulator.

Changes

We will update this notice as development changes data practices and provide notice and consent choices where required before a new practice applies to your information.
